The advantages of the Rolland rocker beam
- The pivot of the balanced beam is offset with a 60:40 split which allows weight to be transferred to the tractor on the ring in difficult conditions.
- Both sides are independent giving greater stability on hilly ground.
- Lower centre of gravity with 13cm of movement in the wheels giving extra stability.
- Wormed bushes as standard to facilitate greasing of the axle. Optional centralized greasing for both axles
The 50th anniversary
The rocker beam axle was invented by Joseph ROLLAND, founder of Rolland company, in 1969. It has since been updated to keep pace with technological developments, while maintaining its ever-present functional principle
